This ring holds very special meaning. The year I turned 60 we had been married 40 years. My Don thought it was time for a new wedding ring; a ring that represents life and love... so the center stone is my engagement diamond. The others are family diamonds ... the eight around the center representing our two sons, two daughters-in-law and four granddaughters - the others represent gratitude for every day. Each day is a gift - this year I celebrate 20 years of breast cancer survivorship.
What a great story behind the ring. Beautiful! And so glad your celebrating 20 years cancer free! I think cancer has touched each and everyone of us in some way.

The criteria when we had the ring made was that my engagement diamond would be front and center, no prongs and to use all the diamonds we had. I love it and was so glad I could photo it for today. As for the 20-years ... lost my chest but that saved my life. First in my family to have cancer - we know that cancer is no respecter of persons.
Thank you Kerri.
Thank you Bro. Have missed you here on 365.
