This Halibut Schooner was launched from Seattle, Washington in 1918. It was drug ashore at Winchester Bay, Oregon in 2002. I've wanted to get a shot of it for sometime and today I took my brother to Coos Bay and this was the perfect opportunity to get my photo on the way back home. I think it is a really cool looking boat even thought it's in dry dock.
Nice shot love the angle it stands out well against the sky. You say its in dry dock being scrapped I hope she definately looks as if she has seen better days.
@webfoot You know Paul, I think it has become one of those things that provides more interest just as it is. Winchester Bay on the Oregon Coast is really a neat place.
