The friends we were with at the Hilton on Tuesday and Wednesday were head back home to New Mexico on Friday morning. On their way to the airport they were T-boned in a car accident (their small rental car was hit by a 3/4 ton pick-up). Jim is really bruised up - Jackie is in the hospital with three broken ribs and a broken sternum... at least she has a beautiful view of the McKenzie River from her hospital room. So grateful they are going to be okay but will have to stay in town until Jackie is well enough to travel. We drove over to Eugene to spend the afternoon with them. sooc
