The Thomas Hill Standpipe was open today. One of only 4 days a year. I took my sister and the kiddos up to see the 360 degree view of Bangor. Lots of clouds! I was hoping for better weather. Oh well! We had a great time. The 2 and half year old saw a monster. Just an unexplained thing. If you believe in ghosts, I do, it made us laugh nervously. Kids come up with the strangest things! Spooky! OMG!! Is this Bangor, Maine?? Being a Stephen King fan since grade school, I've been wanting to visit Bangor for, like, forever!! I imagined Maine to be a whole lot more mountainous for some reason, though!
@tabbycat Maine is gorgeous! It has sandy beaches, rocky coast, mountains and lots of trees! It just depends on where in the state you are.
