PS thanks again for your sweet comment on my blog. When all else fails, I sell our stuff we don't actually need or want and that helps us. Other than that, we are followers of Groupon, hotwire and any place that gives us a discount. We try to be simple so we can afford to leave (but we don't own our house and that helps too because three days before we left we had electrical problems in our house and it was great to call the landlord and not cancel our trip because of it.)
