Took this using the home-made "tripod" in the previous picture... Thought I'd have a go at doing some proper self-portraiture - it's so hard, not being able to see the screen, while you're taking a photo!
So, here's the best of the pictures I took... Verdict? NotbadOKcouldbebetter!
Not bad :) It is a good shot.. really! :) you look very "cool"...
BUT if I'm being super critical...I think if you would have included more of your jeans and hand ...and then brought out the shadows and colors of the brick it would have been slightly better :) did you edit this at all?
oh and maybe if it would be slightly better if the camera was either closer to the wall...or hit the brick straight on... :)

I don't do editing - I can't! So no, this hasn't been edited at all... First time I've tried this properly, and it was very challenging - so, thanks for the advice! Of course I don't "hate you" - why would I?!
Oh, and I'm not showing any more of the jeans, because it's actually a denim skirt... ;)

great self-portrait btw. i guess with the makeshift tripod you did, it's hard to position the camera so close to the wall.
as for the critique, i would've adjusted the contrast to make you pop out
I agree with Lauren about showing slightly more hand and denim, but other than that, it's a really good photo. And self-portraits are never easy, so to come off looking cool is great. :-)
