Carmelite Friary, Burnham Market

Ruins of a Carmelite Friary in North Norfolk.

Not as happy with this shot as I thought I would be at the time. It doesn't say anything.
Dude. I say that ALL the time when I am frustrated with my shots. "But this doesn't SAY anything." I feel your pain. I have a hard time being satisfied with 'pretty' or 'good lighting'. I'm, all, NO, this needs to SAY something. :)

@beautifulthing
I know exactly what you mean.

When I first drove past this place, the ruins reached out and grabbed me, saying "PHOTOGRAPH ME!" so I'm quite disappointed. I might have another go at taking pictures of them sometime. (I'm currently teaching African Drumming workshops at Burnham Market Primary School, which is right opposite these ruins, so I'm going there every week for the rest of this term.)

Tenuous connection indeed...but i LOVE it! I love old crumbly buildings full of history. Can you tell me more? When was it built?

@shutterbugger
I took a picture of the information board outside, as well (you can't see it in this shot) and that has much more information about this building than I could type out here! Here it is: http://www.manek.org.uk/friary-info

You might not think that it says anything, but to me, it screams "explore me!". Because I would. Like Jenn said above, I love old crumbly buildings full of history. :)
