seems like such a luxury

to read for hours. But sometimes it's hard to put down. Never met a Barbara Kingsolver book that I didn't like.

I fell in love with her books when I read The Bean Trees. I haven't read this one, though.

I love her too. I haven’t read this one either. Prodigal Summer is my favorite.

@eudora @wiesnerbeth I think the Bean Trees was my first and I loved it. Probably need to go back and re-read that one. My favorite was probably The Poisonwood Bible. But Animal, Vegetable, Miracle really changed the way I think about food.

@eudora @margonaut The Bean Trees was my first too. In fact, I think it’s on the shelf of my childhood bedroom where I’m staying for the next couple weeks . . . I’ll have to get it out.
