Day 737 - Winter Leaf by markbuehl

Day 737 - Winter Leaf

I worked today during the little sunlight that we had in Southern Wisconsin. The temperature was 20 degrees warmer than the last few days and will be 40 degrees warmer than two days from now. By the time I left work, the clouds had moved in and the sun was gone. The snow had started to melt. All the deer tracks in our yard had leaves in them. It was like the leaves were marking the tracks for other deer. It was odd. Hopefully tomorrow will have some sun.

This is such a beautiful shot. I love the shape and earthy hues of the leaf, and how that contrasts so well with the pristine snow.
