I am going to make everyone's Monday seem like a great Friday. My Monday was the pits. Lately I start work at 11 am on Monday. Because of construction and a re-do of the store I work at, my manager wanted me in by 9. I had made a dentist appointment at 8:30 am to figure out what work I needed before the end of the month and what insurance I had left to use. I was there 15 minutes early for a 15 minute appointment. I notified them that I had to go to work early and needed to wrap this appointment up quickly. I was told they would get me right in, so I could get to work. Over an hour and 15 minutes later, I was leaving for work. My face time with the dentist was less than 5 minutes. The rest of the time was spend waiting in the chair. He would pop in for a minute, then out for 20, back in for 30 seconds, and out again. Frustrating.
The brakes on my car needed work, so I had made another appointment to drop my car off and walk to work. That deal cost almost $400. That was not a something I wanted to spend money on, but I was tired of opening the driver door and dragging my foot to stop.
We were busy at work so I did not get a lunch break today and more importantly, not my normal ration of Diet Coke!
Last year I had some issues with my normal Nikon lens. My sister had two lenses for her Nikon she was not using, so she let me use them. One was the standard Nikon and the other was a nice Tamron. It was nice, because I did not have to get my Nikon lens fixed. Then Friday she broke the lens she was using and wanted her lenses back. So I had to go to Craigslist and find a quick replacement. I found a replacement, but then today my phone's battery died, so I had to drive home, find the guy's phone number, call and then drive for 40 minutes to meet and get the replacement. I got home after 9:00 pm, to get busy with my Picture-Of-The-Day.
