FULL FRAME

I am really sorry, I did my best, I had no intention of posting another Robin today. I went after the Kingfisher again today but he was not playing ball and never appeared at all. Whilst I was sat in the hide I could hear this cheeky little thing flitting around just behind me and calling out, maybe to attract my attention so I would feed him. Finally I started taking pictures of him as I grew fed up of waiting for the Kingfisher, if I ever need any I now have loads of fillers. My other album does not have a Kingfisher in it, or even you will be glad to know another Robin. However the subject's antics were nearly as cheeky as the Robin.

Nice shot, I can sympathize with you over your attempt to get a Kingfisher shot. I spent about a hour and a half following one yesterday and got the run around again today

You don't need to apologise for your robin pics. I love them. But I think you're just trying to heighten our anticipation waiting for the kingfisher shot.

@bri1066 Thank you very much Brian, I am not so much chasing them as waiting for them to come to me. I know quite a few places to see glimpses of them but know of two sites, one near me, the other a bit of a distance, were I can hide and get quite close as they sit on some nicely positioned branches. Its just a question of when everything comes together, right light, right camera, right POV, the branch near me and not the one on the island 150 yards away. I have seen them at both sites, ( not when I had a camera with me) spend up to 30 minutes sitting and fishing in just the right spot. Just need them to leave the camera detectors at home. Lol.
