This lovely view of Fiddlers Ferry Power Station across the River Mersey from the Runcorn side, is very shortly going to vanish forever.
They are in the process of building a new bridge over the Mersey which will go right across this view.
The black box and crane mid right of the picture is where they are busy driving piles into the river bed to form one leg of a very big suspension bridge.
I have used a B&W shot taken from near here for todays theme of B&W in this weeks ONS challenge.
