@gamelee Thank you Lee, yes it's not a problem. I wasn't sure myself about this. I have quite a few other shots of these, and was going to use one of those, I went with this one in the end because it looked different to all the others, maybe that was what swayed my choice. I knew they looked different but now you have mentioned it I can see what what you mean about the "plastic" look.
I really like the processing so i think its a matter of taste. I think if you'd masked the swans and either left them or made them softer it would be perfect, because I was attracted to the stripey look of the reeds and water. I'm sure it was a nice sooc but here its set apart.
