STAYING IN THE BACKGROUND

He just would not give me a totally clear shot of him, choosing to always have something between me and him. Not obvious at first glance this is Britain's favourite bird, a Robin. This is one of several juvenile Robins, bobbing around the garden. It will be a few weeks before he gets a lovely red breast.

@rosiekind Thank you Rosie, this is one of the young from the second or possibly even the third brood this year. It's quite hard to keep track, as I am not sure whether some of the young are coming in from neighbours gardens. I spotted today, Blue Tits feeding very young fledglings, these must be from a second brood.
