If you keep your eyes open, out in the woods and forests, it is not unusual to see one of these Nuthatch's flitting around the trees looking for food. However finding somewhere where it is possible to watch them close up and for long enough to take photographs is a bit harder, but I think I might just have found somewhere.
Congratulations on catching the nuthatch - either very fast shutter finger or a somewhat cooperative bird. They move so continually. This shot is great.
I love their little "song" too. It's like they are mumbling ti themselves (here in the States). The color and band are striking as well as that downward movement they take down a limb. Your bird shots are really looking wonderful Mark!
