The male Kingfisher again, this time he is looking down at the water. Maybe he was searching for his dinner, waiting for it to swim into view. In the end I didn't see him fish from here, he was spooked and flew away.
Lovely picture. I really like the twinkle you have caught in the eye. We have a kingfisher on the river near us and I have never yet seen it! Maybe you have inspired me to go and have a seat for a few hours!
