LIVERPOOL PIER HEAD by markp

LIVERPOOL PIER HEAD

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is part of Liverpool's waterfront. What appears to be a "black letter box" in the centre of the image is where the famous Ferries Across the Mersey run from.

This is such a wonderful architectural shot, with great contrast of the architecture and nature. So many beautiful old buildings - and a slice of history from song too.

This shows the buildings really well, I've seen photos of some of these individually but never one of the waterfront like this! I've never really been to Liverpool, not being a fan of cities.
