@rontu Thank you Linda, this was taken earlier in the year up in Orkney. I found this field, with a flock of sheep and their lambs in. I then noticed several pairs of Curlews, with very young chicks as well. I presumed they must have nested here. The grass was a bit too long to get many clear views of the chicks. However a couple of seconds before I took this image this chick was clearly visible, nose to nose with the lamb.
I could almost see in the lambs eyes, "what's this tiny fluffy thing ?"
As the Curlew chick wondered "what's this big white fluffy thing ?"
