SHINY FOR SPRING

This pair of Mallards looking very spruce and shiny for the upcoming Spring breeding season appear to being enjoying the Winter sun.

A nice Mallard pair. the male certainly has a lovely display of that metallic green colour. I've noticed some around here look a bit tatty as if they are a little worn.
