A DISTANT BEN MACDUI

Ben Macdui, or Beinn Mac Duibh, in Gaelic, is the high peak in the middle of the shot. It is the second highest mountain in the UK after Ben Nevis, reaching 4,295 feet.
Ben Macdui, is in the centre of the arctic-like Cairngorm Plateau, a much colder, snowier, and wilder place than Ben Nevis.
Just to it's right is Cairn Gorm, this is the sixth highest UK mountain at 4,085 feet. It also holds the record for the UK's highest recorded wind speed, a gust of 173 miles per hour. Not only would that take your breath away, you would probably go as well.

The closest mountain on the right is a Carn Lochan na Beinne, a baby at only 2,270 feet.
