@karenann No, 3 bracketed exposures were merged in Photomatix Pro. Then I added the layer for my watermark in Photoshop, resaved the jpeg file and wallah! Thank you for the compliment, Karen! It was several days ago, you asked me on one post about it... I know I replied by asking you if you could set your camera to take automatic bracketed exposures. Can't remember which post it was though. Hmmm?
Wow . . that's alot of processing for a photo, gal. So are you just using the photomatix for trial? I know that you have photoshop software, right? I wrote the info down and will check my camera. I can say that right now with going out and taking photos, commenting, and doing simple processing is about all I can do right now. Am also signed up for a few more camera classes. Love them. I may have to buy a simple software for processing when picnik goes. Do you have suggestions? How do you find enough hours in the day, Maggie. :)
@karenann LOL! Remember, I was laid off. I have no job and no money to spend on equipment and software. It's a good thing I had what I had before I was laid off! It takes no time at all to take 3 auto bracketed exposures... about the same time it takes to make one. The camera automatically adjusts for the other 2. Photomatix is easy. Piece of cake. Just select the view you want and adjust the sliders. Takes maybe a whole 2 minutes, if that! Adding my watermark is about the same. There's a discussion here on some free apps to use in lieu of Picnik. There were several. I'd say, try them all to see which one you like.
This is really beautiful! You're doing a great job with the HDR shots - it has a very realistic feel, and the tones are just stunning. Keep up the great work, my friend!
@mhphoto Thank you, Mike! That's somewhat hard to do though - to reach that balance. Not enough and you can't tell the difference between the HDR and the original good exposure. Too much and it's not longer a photo. But, I'll learn! =)
@jenp It's okay. I think I'm starting to miss a few myself, although I don't mean to. Thank you, Jennifer! Appreciate the fav and most of all the comments and the view! =)
I know, it's hard to keep up with everyone. I try to do it through out the day (more like obsess) over everyone's pictures. I could soak in photography 24/7.
@lostwaveitb Danielle, weeds are about I have to shoot around here at this time of year. Thank you for your thoughtful comments, much appreciated.
