I wish I had videoed this instead... It was so comical watching this bumble bee struggle so hard to get deeper into the jasmine's trumpet shaped blossom. He really wanted that sweet nectar down at the bottom and his little legs were just waving back and forth as he worked to get closer to the sweet brew.
Happy March! I'll soon be another year older and maybe just a little wiser than last year.
What a great photo, Maggie. Looks like a huge bee, like we have here. Too funny, love your stories about how things happen. I think you will be happy you took this photo instead of the video. Fav
@ellimae Thank very much, Ellen! You comments are appreciated!
@heidievans73 It's toward the end a few weeks away. =) LOL! That's the only thing I could think of for a title. It was so funny watching that bumble! I laughed and laughed! Thank you for your lovely comments, gal! Glad you like the bright yellow. You may see more jasmine before it's said and done. =)
@karenann Maybe they just get tired, Karen. What can I say? Sometimes it seems easier to get a clear focus and other times, I can't really tell. Thank you for you kind and thoughtful comments! Always appreciated!

Dear Mags.... I goofed, called you Megs..... This is a great shot, no need for video as your narative lets me see the little guy's legs just scramblin' to get in there at the sweet stuff. Well Done!

Maggie, your caption is hilarious and I really love the picture - the whole mix of flower, buds, leaves, stems and their different colors is very appealing. Fav.

@maggiemae LOL! No, Maggiemae, that bumble actually bombed my shot of that blossom but, I wasn't going to complain! Was a surprise, then a great laugh! Thank you for the fav and most of all for your kind comments! Most appreciated!
Awesome shot! Mr Bee is very determined! Haha, it must have been quite a treat to watch him work so hard. Doesn't he feel vulnerable, I wonder, with his butt all exposed like that? 8D

This is incredible and I am picturing that bee's butt wiggling! :-) I didn't realize I wasn't following you. Organization not always my best thing. Can't wait to keep up on a regular basis.
@lindag I like your descriptive comments! Thank you very much, Linda! LOL! I thought folks just followed the folks they wanted to. I never gave it more thought than that. Thank you for the follow. I will follow back! =)
Awww....that is cute! I forget I can video and also wish I had done it at times. Last fall, I walked to the school's outdoor classroom in the woods and a hummingbird flew in as I approached......he was drinking from flowers in the planter boxes we have down there. I was freaked because I did not own a DSLR at that time. I actually got some semblance of a still and edited it like crazy to make the h bird show. but then I got smart! I hit video and got a great video of him buzzing about. I still go breathless/speechless when I watch it now and I relive the magic of seeing that cool bird. We can post video on here too! I forget!
@espyetta Thank you for your comments. What a wonderful story! You'll have to give me a link so I can see it! Would love to! LOL! You stop forgetting and I'll stop accidently stepping in holes! =)
My biggest girl is a March baby too :)
