I took this shot, first thing this morning. Felt great!!! I worked like a mad woman on clearing out the snakey areas before it finally warmed up to 60 degrees. About halfway done moving the old wood pile, trimmed more shrubs and raked away the leaf matter all around the back of the fence. It was invigorating, too! When I finished my work for today, I took pics for about two hours - over 300. Surely, I've got something good in that lot! Hope these temps hold just a little while longer. Down in the 40's tonight! Will sleep so good. Will work on catching up on your photos as quick as I get a nice bath and something to eat. See you in a just a little bit!
Even though I have three little boys, I tend to feel like a slug after reading your posts, and I mean that in a complimentary way!!! :) Enjoy your R&R..... Love your daily journal and photos!
What a great photo and what a lot you did today. Super woman, Maggie. Nice to have cooler weather. Enjoy it and enjoy the fruits of your labor. A bath sounds like a perfect ending and beginning to the rest of your day.
I LOVE that temperature ... so invigorating for me!! Guess that you didn't find any snakes, because I didn't hear any screams! You've done an amazing amount of work there, Maggie. You needed a "crew!" Beautiful photo ... love the trellis.

@vskolnik LOL! It was the weather and the temps more than anything else today, Vee! After the past week of 90 degrees with 83 percent humidity, sweating my arss off working in the yard, 50 degrees was very invigorating to me!

Mags, I'm with you , the cool days are for working and the warm for kicking back.... Gonna be 55 here tomorrow and I'll be scrubbing and power-washing decks to prep for staining.

@marlboromaam You are such a kind and wonderful person and you work so hard to keep things nice and caught up. I do not know how you do it but to me, Super Woman is a perfect title for you as you have so much energy and bounce back from whatever ales you. I could not do it.

Your ambition wears me out, Maggie. Like you, I get all into yard work when the temps are below 80 and I agree, it's so invigorating. 300 photos? Amazing! today was the first hot day of spring.. tomorrow I believe I will be able to have a look at my garden.. I am afraid to find lots of works.. my longest has been six hours.. =) good to be in the garden ..I am sure you enjoyed it..
