Abstract Texture... by marlboromaam

Abstract Texture...

If you looked at this with the naked eye, you'd see corse little brown hairs. Look at it through a macro lens and you see this! It isn't roots. It the hair-like tendrils on ivy vines. Amazing texture! I thought it would be okay for the abstract theme.
Cool...looks like Ramon noodles! Fun for abstract theme!!!

@kerristephens Thank you so much, Kerri!

@elizabeth264 Thank you, Elizabeth! Really appreciate your time to view and comment on my pic!

@karenann New theme? Not that I know of... I did one shot for the tiny theme and one shot for the abstract theme. I really haven't looked at any of the others in discussions except those two. Is that what you mean? Appreciate your kind comments, Karen! Most grateful and thank you!

@deburahiru Appreciate that, Deb! Thank you very much!

@cindyrez LOL! Did you pull any big vines down as big around as your finger? If you did, I think you probably would've guessed, gal! Those tendrils are merciless on screen material and wood. Thank you for the comments, Cindy! Always appreciated!
April 22nd, 2012

April 22nd, 2012
@sugarmuser Thank you, Sharon!

@cindyrez Yeah... I'm afraid some are permanent until they rot off. LOL! At least I have only about three more big roots to dig up and it should all die. I hope! I don't want to have to do this anymore.
April 22nd, 2012
Wow! Fantastic detail...I love macro!
April 22nd, 2012
Oh wow, I'm glad you told us what this is, because I would've thought they were big bunches of roots and not little hairs! It's awesome what the lens picks up. Impressive capture!
April 22nd, 2012

@lindag Thank you, Linda! Put "april abstract" into the 365 search window and it should pull it right up. I don't have the link handy at the moment. It mentions that they did it for August and now they're doing it for April, too.

@marlboromaam maffie, i'll just have to imagine what a monochrome image will look like as I don't have a FB page ! I decided a while ago not to venture into the world of FB, mainly because my daughters use FB a lot and I think I should not be on the same social network as then as I might discover things I don't want too ...365, flickr and gmail are about as social networked as I get !!!
April 25th, 2012
