Wild Flower - Centrosema Virginianum by marlboromaam

Wild Flower - Centrosema Virginianum

This little purple beauty is commonly known as a "butterfly pea." The bloom is about the size of a five cent piece. It is a vine, and in the Fabaceae family of plants. It's native to the Carolinas and Georgia.
Beautiful shot. Wild is beauty.

Lovely ! I think I recognize what we call “pois de senteur” in French (= scented peas ) but I’m not a botanical expert ;)
