Inversion...

I was curious what Photoshop did when inverting the colors of an image. So I looked this up on a color wheel and compared the original shot to the inverted one to see. It actually chooses the opposite color on the color wheel. Yellow inverted is blue. Green inverted is purple, etc. Check out this handy little RGB color wheel and play with it a bit!
