If I had to give him an indian name. With those long dark hairs growing out, Will Connor has developed a black arrow down the middle of his tail. He's digging for a spiky ball that rolled under the railing - reminded me of a cat! LOL!
@corinnec He's made me laugh more than I've laughed in 10 years. I think he's going to have some dark markings when he's done growing. Must be somewhere in his line. His dad is a sable and his mother is a blue merle.
@corinnec The blue in merle is real gray. I hope he won't have any of that. LOL! Some folks like blue merle colored collies - they cost more $$$. I prefer the sable like Lassie. =)
@danette I understand. I hope you don't have to go far to find a collie when you're ready. There are NO rough collie breeders in SC. There's one I found in Georgia, but I couldn't afford their very high price. Will came from a good breeder in NC with a reasonable price. I'm debating whether or not to register him with AKC. I'm not going to stud him out and the breeder asked me to wait a year before having him "fixed."
