I love this, Maggie! You're right on the mark with this one. I would have guessed "evening" shadows here, but yes, the morning has this effect too. Fantastic job ... I thought of your "zoning technique" right away when I read about the competition. I KNOW how good you are at these shots. I love that you did this outdoors as opposed to the indoor shots that they showed as examples. I don't do competitions on here anymore, but this one intrigues me. I think that it's a FANTASTIC way to learn technique, the camera, and a new way of seeing something. Bravo to you for this one!!
@karenann I stopped doing the challenges and themes for a while, too. Now I carefully choose which ones I'll participate in. Don't give up though! You're too good!!! Your pics are wonderful gal! No lie! Appreciate you taking the time to comment here. Thank you for your lovely comments. Have you thought about an ACE yet? I know you know why I asked that, too.
Hmmmm..... do you think that that's what it's all about, Maggie. If so, a definite "NO." I'm here to learn photography and to be with friends like you. Too independent in my thinking to .... well, I won't say it. But I think you know what I'm saying. If not, email me. But if that's true, Maggie, it's really sad. :)
Well done! Love your outdoor low key! When I first read how to do low key yesterday, I was surprised that one can do it outdoors and in daylight, but you proved it!
