Beautiful photo - out of curiosity, what did "perfect effects" do to the image? Does it somehow enhance the highlights on the water drops? I'm not familiar with the software - if you hadn't mentioned the processing, I would have thought this was SOOC (which, in my mind, is a good thing!) Congrats on PP!
@rockinrobyn I think I just added the soft light glow to this pic, Robyn. I believe it was "angel glow." The photo only had one or two tiny light flares and I used a Photoshop CS5 brush to enhance them and add a couple more. Software can be used to enhance a photo with naturally occurring elements that you did not get in your photo which is what I really like about it. Or, it can be used to turn your photo into a sort of art form, for lack of a better word. Straight out of the camera, this shot was okay. It was early morning in the shade. You could see the water drops and a couple of tiny light flares. But, it was shot for experimentation with Perfect Photo Suite. I didn't put it in my main album which is what most people view. So, it making the PP is a mystery to me. LOL!
Your processing certainly makes it look like beautiful art in a natural way. I would nto have guessed this was shot in the shade. "Cool beans" as the kids used to say, lol. You know, my "monet" photo that made PP was also in a spare album, so I'm surprised it was discovered. I have fewer followers/commenters/prior PP pics, though, so the monkey algorhythms make it easier for me to break through with just a handful of faves.
@rockinrobyn I was 7 months into this project before I ever made the PP with my early morning fog shot. Still didn't have an ACE membership at the time. I think those "monkeys" are mighty strange. LOL! I do know that views and favs do effect them though. How? That's just a mystery.
