Who says lightening never strikes twice in the same place?
It's struck my transformer here three times in ten years. Power company has had to replace it, too! Early this morning, I thought those clouds made it look like the times it smoked after being struck by the lightening.
I'm crying, not with laughter nor with real tears, more like deep inside. I was expecting b&w, I guess this will have to do haha Its a lovely blue sky and a very interesting subject but the lines going off in that jaunty angle, they bug me for some reason. I guess I can't hold that against you though, or can I? haha nah course not :)
@justeddie Sorry, Eddie! I know you found the other album with the black and white shots though. Appreciate your comments and honesty! Always!!! Thank you!
What a terrific shot--again you capture it so well. I'm so envious of your ability to take something like that make it look GREAT.
And if I can go off for a minute, when my youngest, who is 21, was little when we'd pass this booster station and he'd say, "That's where you go to get electroluted". Every time I pass by, I still laugh.
@yonnie Such wonderful comments! You are too kind, Yvonne! Thank you very much! LOL! That's precious what your son said when he was little!
@cindyrez They are loud! You think a big gun has been fired! Thank you for your kind comments and visit, Cindy!
@joeboxster LOL! In my best Capt. Kirk voice... Scotty, you've got to hold her together until we get back to Star Base!
@maggiemae Some of it is, Maggiemae and some of it is not! The lines from the transformer to the house are underground but, not the power lines themselves.
@sanfil Thank you, Sandra! Appreciate your comments very much!
@kerristephens Thank you, Kerri!
