Red bud maple blossoms and cedar waxwings... by marlboromaam

Red bud maple blossoms and cedar waxwings...

From the archives of February 2012, the red bud maple (eastern red maple) was blooming and the cedar waxwings that pass through were feasting on them. This year, the red bud maple isn't blooming yet and I haven't seen one cedar waxwing. The birds follow the path of plants and bugs, right?! Hoping to see both soon.
What a lovely bird.

@wakelys It is a pretty bird. It's migratory and isn't here long when it's here.

@kvphoto Thank you, KV! They are blooming in the swamp I pass on the way to see my mom. But NOT the one in my back yard! I'm getting anxious. LOL!
