@Weezilou Sorry for the late reply. A reproduction indeed. They did 24 reproduction in 2 years time for a a television show called 'the secret of the master' in which they tried to go through the exact same process as the painter did. I went to a real life show to see the results and hear more stories they couldn't fit in the small amount of time there was for the original broadcasts. Very interesting.
