For my get pushed challenge this week, my task is to take scrumptious still photos of food. And I was happy to stumble across this scene of post-pie. So here we go... today's photo! I don't know that it's as delicious a processing job as I could do. I will try again tomorrow.
Oh well done! The pastry looks crumbly and delicious, and I like the fork still there. Is that an old Denby plate? We had some like that when I was growing up. They made a lot of noise! I have the day off tomorrow and looking forward to ICM and getting my tripod out! Thanks for your challenge.
@susale Thanks! I didn't actually get to taste it. It was sitting on my friend's table when I arrived for a visit. But it's from my favourite pastry shop in Toronto so it was probably pretty darn good. :D
@lleo I don't know what kind of plate that is, but Denby sounds familiar. I will have to check next time I visit. I am going to keep trying this still life thing with food. It's interesting! Maybe not this week because I'm heading off to a cabin imminently and I'm not sure what the internet scene is like there. But thanks for your excellent challenge! And lovely image you captured with yours!
