My morning walk by mave

My morning walk

Quite pleased with myself this morning. For the first time in over three months I have walked home from St Neots across the common. Den took me in to have my hair cut, and when I came out I had just missed the bus. So I walked. It took slightly longer than it used to but I stopped a few times to take pictures, so that helped. And I made a collage.
A very interesting collage of your morning walk. Such pretty scenes.

A lovely collage and sometimes it is good to walk and look around for things to photograph that you probably wouldn't normally see. Fav

A lovely collage Mave. I recognise them all except the one with the flowers and the grasses, where was that taken?

A walk is always a op to take pictures...I find I do things sometimes I wouldn’t normally do just to give myself a chance of a photo. Lovely collage of your walk! Obviously it didn’t rain where you are as you would have caught the bus to save your hair!

@happypat No Pat, it was sunny. A lovely walk. The chance to take pictures encourages me to walk.

Well, missing the bus paid off for you! A good walk and a beautiful collage of all the things you saw on it.

@olivetreeann missing the bus really paid off. I realised I could still do the walk even if it does take me a bit longer these days

@mave I'm right there with you on the "a little bit longer" part! But I always tell myself "I'd rather move slowly than to not be able to move at all".

@olivetreeann I am lucky. The council has just put a couple of seats on the way across the common. I had a rest on them today.

Well done. A camera in hand always makes a walk more pleasant.

@seattlite @onewing @sandlily I feel lucky to live in such an attractive area, but I suppose most people could say the same.

@happysnaps @casablanca considering it is just the walk from St Neots to our village there are so many different aspects

That is one amazing morning walk -- what beautiful sights to see.

@taffy We are very lucky. The common should be safe from development and is used for grazing cows at present. The other side of the road has the local rugby club's field with rugby and football pitches.
