A collage of three shots from yesterday's walk round our local nature reserve. The first is the start of the Heron Trail, the second a general shot and the third is a fallen tree. Some of this will be removed and used elsewhere on the reserve, and some left to provide a home for various insects. I expect to see fungus growing there too eventually.
