Regatta Meadow
A picture taken yesterday in St Neots. The river usually flows at the far side of the trees in the picture. This is the second flood since Christmas.

My husband bought me a dslr camera a year ago and we joined the local U3a photography group. A new and very enjoyable hobby....

I cannot believe how much rain we’ve had in our area during the last few months. It’s worrying.

The flooding makes a gorgeous scene and you have taken a beautiful shot. Hope not much damage was inflicted on the area.

Thank you for your concerned comments. This area by the river is a flood plain and is allowed to flood to save other areas from the water. I think it was worse (and quicker to rise) than in earlier years.

It's a shame that such a pretty scene has been caused by flooding.
