Crowning Glory

Sunrise at the Bataan Memorial Death March. A record 8350 people participated this year and I was one of them. So much electricity in the air.
Wow what a picture

I love the exceptional sun on the mountaintops. It seems like a metaphor of your worthy goal for the day.

My friend Harbie has been in Carlsbad this week if you'd like to check out her photos: https://365project.org/harbie/365-2/2018-03-25

Thank you Aunt Mannie for remembering these heroes.

Definitely a crowning glory for what I would guess is a very important march in your history.

So lovely to see. I thought of you when Harbie mentioned Carlsbad Caverns.

@bigdad @janeandcharlie @ranger1 @gilbertwood @kathiecb Thaks for the positive comments on the sunrise over the Organ Mountains at the Bataan Memorial Death March. This was my fourth time to do the march to commemorate the Americans and Filipinos who were treated so badly during World War 2. I have huge admiration for those men who endured such treatment.
