Stunning image, Kerry! Ooo, that piercing eye. Such an intense gaze. We have a pair of Red-tails that nest nearby each year. They soar above our house all the time, and we've been able to watch them land and snap branches off of our trees to add to their nest. The young are fun to watch and listen to. We can always tell the young by the sound of their screeches, which are not quite as intimidating as the loud screeches made by their parents.
