She was, after all...a pearl of great price...

Bob @bjw challenged me to try making a high key photograph. This is one of my attempts. A mask made by Mary Elizabeth Atwood (multi-talented, artistic woman, and my third cousin). The title I've given it above is the title she gave the mask.

Interesting stuff. The mask is making me feel a touch claustrophobic! Weird considering Im looking at a 2D photo! :)

@thebluegnu this is really just for display. I don't think you could wear it -- no eye holes.

Your artwork made a great piece for the high key challenge! It is so full of texture ....I see the shell and pearl, but I also see a face if you look at the whole thing. Nice!
