For Monday's Mad Minute Word -- natatores, a zoological term meaning the swimming birds. Technically this is not "natatores," but a single "natator." No time to go out looking for real birds, so here is my closest substitute. I may not be the only one who has thought of rubber duckies, but I'll bet nobody else has one already hand decorated by their son and named "Blood Bath."
@julieco Yeah, I know, Julie. This has been sitting around our bathroom for quite a long time. Our son doesn't even live with us anymore and I think he did the "decorating" before we left Minnesota. I guess I've gotten so used to his love of the macabre -- horror films his special love, that I now have a skewered sense of humor. Hey, the little guy was sitting around not pulling his weight. I couldn't resist making some good use of him. And he IS a "swimming bird," so....
