Portrait of a head not severed

Another of the mannequin heads Dan has in his room. This one is actually head and shoulders and upper torso and is made for sculpting clay (you can see the leavings of some on it). We got it a long time ago as part of a kit to make rubber masks (creature and horror themed, of course) the way serious mask makers do it. We thought Dan would enjoy that. It was a multistaged process you'd go through to get to a finished mask. He only got as far as the clay sculpting. Eventually we got rid of most of the other supplies. But this guy stays.

I took the photo the same time I was attempting low key shots for my get pushed challenge of the other head and the silver fortune cookie I've posted on other days this week. The vintage layer I put on in ribbet.com
Fascinating - such a spooky feel to the shot.

I'm sure this is something that must have slipped through the 'time-gate' - it's not of this world that's for sure... And the mood of your capture confirms it!

@blahowd This was another shot taken the other evening in response to the challenge you gave me.

This reminds me of the Mask Therapy class I took at K-State - my very first course in the Drama Therapy program there. I still have the mold of my face from which I created many other masks!
