Anderson Hall Looking Down by mcsiegle

Anderson Hall Looking Down

Damn, I'm good! I mean, I know it's not great photography, but I'm just so proud of the fact that I was able to get these so symmetrical without any crop at all. You can see it's not the same one flipped. SOOC. One is looking down the north stairwell from 2nd floor to first. The other is looking down the south stairwell. It's pretty dark -- I was very grateful for the lit doorways that lead to the basement stairs.

For my get pushed challenge from Jocasta @jocasta to take a photo from up high looking down.

I took these shots a bit after 5:00 and there was almost no one around. So I couldn't resist going down, sitting on the sofas and taking corresponding "looking up" shots. I put those in my Alternates album. They are rather less interesting (put together in a diptych), though at the time I took them I liked the plain graphic lines.

@jocasta Here is one looking down. The second floor is as high as I've gotten so far this week.

I really like this - brilliant idea and perspective. I love the symmetry and the dolls house feel that it has. Fantastic response to the the challenge .
