My friends, Kim and Jack, in Wisconsin have a beautiful house that, with the help of professionals, they designed. They also did a lot of work -- mainly the finishing work -- staining, painting, sealing the wood from different varieties of trees that were cut on their land. Their walls, ceilings, floors are paneled with that wood. I was lying in their guest bed the morning after I arrived, looking up at the ceiling. I ended up grabbing the camera and taking pictures in that bedroom, the living room, the kitchen etc with the intent of making this collage you see here.
