I lied. Today is 8/12 Two days ago I said that I would post some of my little son (when he was little) telling Romeo and Juliet using puppets and some signed narrative. I said I'd post it "tomorrow" which was yesterday. I haven't had time to put together the main event, but here is what followed Romeo & Juliet.
See my post of a few days ago for some explanation. These pictures are are shots I took on Sunday of the TV screen as I watched this old videotape of Dan putting on a puppet show for me and the camera. The main story was Romeo and Juliet -- at that particular time he really liked that story.
It's part of what I did for the get-pushed-challenge Trisha Clancy gave me last week to photograph hands that tell a story. Since Dan talks with his hands, I thought it would fit. So, here is what came after R&J -- late for the challenge week, but, hey!
Too late for my get-pushed-challenge last week and photos taken one day too early to qualify for the current six word story challenge, but I'm tagging it even though it can't be considered for that "final few" component of the challenge.
@38dcmoder Dawn, this is what my son looked like when he was a kid -- before he went to MSAD (started there in 5th grade). His hair was always sticking up and out and needing a haircut.
@38dcmoder Thanks, Dawn. I'm trying to work out which year...Dan always looked littler and younger than he was. We bought that house in '85 and he was born in '78. So he had to have been at least seven. And the piece of furniture behind him we brought back to MN from KS after we moved to that house. I'll look at the video again and see if I can see when I put together the public access channel video projects I was borrowing the camera for.
@pauliek Thank you, Paulette. I don't do scrapbooks (except for a club I belong to), though I really ought to as I have lots and lots of paper memorabilia to archive somehow!
