As seen from upstairs hallway

Messing around with the iPod. I like the angles from where you can look down into my front entryway. And some processing in PS Elements I thought helped.
Something I just now noticed. The aqua color I like in this is NOT the color the wall really is. It's kind of a creamy, almost yellow. I didn't try to change the hue in post processing. Probably the imperfect white balance in the iPod (just looked and it's closer to the real color but slightly bluish). Boosting something in PS Elements pushed it more blue. Hmmm...Don't know why I didn't notice before, seeing as I know what color my walls really are.
Neat but scary perspective...nice lines, textures

@seattlite Thanks, Gloria. If the railing wasn't there, I'd find it scary too.

@susanalena Thank you so much Susan. Although the stairs and railing are all finished the same, some is getting more light from windows just over the stairway out of frame. I like the different tones too.

@hjbenson I hadn't thought of Esher! But you're right. It does remind me of his things. Except my stairway actually goes someplace logical. :-)

Wow, looks like a painting!

@jess1204 Thanks, Jessica. The result of the processing in Photoshop Elements, I think. I experimented a bit and ended up using the "paint daubs" effect.
