This little bitty leaf was suspended by a single strand of spiderweb. It was blowing in the breeze -- swinging back and forth. It took me a while to realize that, although I was having no luck trying to lock the focus onto the moving target, I could use the same strategy I use to get a blurred picture on purpose. I held my finger in front of the camera at about the same distance as the leaf. Once I'd gotten the focus set on the finger I took it away and aimed at the leaf. Was rather proud of myself for figuring that out. I like the way the leaf seems to just hang there with no visible support.
