LAST week @maaayke Maayke gave me the challenge of finding and redoing a picture from the first few months of my project. It wasn't easy finding ones that could be re-shot -- different season, house under construction, being renovated and expanded. Different house while the one in town is not habitable etc etc. I did go through the first year of my project (May 2013 to May 2014) and identify some possibilities. The other day as I left work on campus and headed to my car, I realized that one of those had been a picture featuring Anderson Hall as part of a landscape, in reply to my very first get pushed challenge from Deni Double @denidouble http://365project.org/mcsiegle/365/2013-06-14
So I stopped heading to my car and instead took photos of Anderson Hall from various angles. I'm also posting three other shots I took the other day. All of them have been processed using the pencil sketch effect on ribbet.com. On this one I couldn't get the completely dark parts of the bushes to lighten up enough to render properly, getting large blobs there instead.
