Filling in a couple of empty holes I had in March.
Just outside the building where my mom has her apartment, as I was leaving I heard a bird chirping and spotted it up in the gutter around the roof, at the end furthest under the overhang above - it obviously had a nest in there. I tried to get a shot of it, but before I could even get the camera out, it had flown over to the top of the downspout elbow. Before I could get a bead on it there, it had flown into the tree I was standing next to, and before I could find and get focused on him, he went somewhere else - I know not where. So there I stood, continuing to point my camera at the tree I was practicing focusing on various branches, when a man came out and asked if it was me who had put the green ornament there. I had to ask him what ornament, and he pointed out the green ball hanging up on one of the branches, I haven't a clue as to who put it up there, but it gave the tree a somewhat festive look to it. So different from the overall springtime white blossoms. A touch of Christmas in springtime.
