Rhamphorhynchus at the dinosaur exhibit by mcsiegle

Rhamphorhynchus at the dinosaur exhibit

The Flint Hills Discovery Center has a dinosaur exhibit through the summer. When my sister was here a couple of weeks ago Frank and I joined my Mom and sister and brother and his daughter to go see it. Of course all the dinosaurs wanted to go. And I've promised them that before the exhibit closes they all will have the opportunity to go. But this time I chose just four of them. The Allosaurus, The Mosasaurus, the Rhamphorhynchus, and ONE of the Triceratops Twins. I took the sister. No way was I going to take both of them at the same time. They can get into so much trouble together. Here you see the Rhamphorhynchus looking at a close relative. I've been very neglectful of the dinosaurs -- this is the first I've posted of one of them in a good while. So I figured I'd better post some of these and maybe another from the trip up to SweetWood in Wisconsin in April.
This is a fav for me.
