From the Secret Diary

The get pushed challenge given to me by Jake Sorensen @deadschool was food photography. I thought about making cookies. I thought a lot about eating stuff that's good for me, and have been trying, honestly, to adjust my diet to try to prevent the heartburn/acid reflux I've been experiencing. But the list of foods that are bad for that is a mile long and include lots of my favorite things -- onions, garlic, cheese, citrus fruits...and CHOCOLATE! Waaaah! Needless to say, I'm not going to do entirely without any of those -- moderation, right?

Well...today, still without anything to post for food photography, I threw all caution to the wind and made "no fail microwave fudge" -- easier even than making cookies.

Not the most artistic image I've ever posted, but it's food and it's photography. Whew!
Nice triptych.

@deadschool It's food. Someday I'll go for fine art photography + food. Thanks for the challenge.

That would be a dangerous recipe to have in hand. It looks fantastic, speaking as a fellow choc addict. Great image, very inviting!

Hi Mary
How do you feel about doing a shot involving reflection or refraction - I was thinking along the lines of the spoons similar to my last challenge - I had fun playing with that - or ones involving a glass like http://365project.org/miata2u/365/2016-11-15 or http://365project.org/salza/365/2016-10-18
